Nature Parks 

Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, CO has accessible trails, boardwalks, campsites, and public buildings. It is one of the best national parks when it comes to overall mobility access. 

Taking a vacation in the south? Then Congaree National Park near Gadsden, SC is a great place to spend some time. This national park features a 2.4-mile accessible boardwalk loop through an old-growth hardwood forest, as well as accessible tours.

 

Museums

If you are headed to the Big Apple, then make plans to visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The landmark museum offers a wheelchair-accessible entrance on Fifth Avenue entrance and regularly has programs specifically for individuals with disabilities.
